PAYROLL TAXES REDUCED for 2011
The portion of Social Security taxes paid by
EMPLOYEES, will drop from 6.2% down to
4.2% -- for calendar year 2011 only -- on
all wages earned up to $106,800. (Employers
will still continue to pay the current 6.2%.)
SELF-EMPLOYED people will pay 10.4%
in 2011 -- down from 12.4%.
This is just some of the changes in
the tax code for 2011.
